The Genius: Black Garnet Season 3

Black Garnets and Black Missions- Black garnets are garnets that can be used by a player to remove him/her from a death match. Black garnets are the ones given to the winners of the death matches instead of the loser's garnets. The loser's garnets are removed from the game. Black garnets can also be obtained from the main matches. Three black garnets are needed in order to perform a Black Mission.

Black Missions are tasks that a player may attempt to complete to remove themselves from the death match. There are three black missions available for the whole season; Math, Memory, and Observations. Kim Jung-hoon in Episode 4 attempted the first black mission, choosing the Observation Mission. The task was getting all haps in a Gyul! Hap! puzzle under 100 seconds. Lee Jong-bum in Episode 7 attempted the second one, choosing the Memory Mission. The task was to memorize 12 bus stations. Both of them failed to successfully complete the missions. Black garnets expired on Episode 10. The remaining black garnets were exchanged for 2 ordinary garnets each.
